I've been coming here since they opened. I would usually give them 4 stars. This evening, we had a huge roach crawl up the wall next to our table. It was about 5pm. I can't say that I will ever go back. The people are very friendly. They have forgotten some of my food before during a delivery. This was by far an event that I can't get over.
First I have to crate an account to order, which is annoying. But the fact they bring you your food and expect you to eat it with your hands is just cheap. Plastic forks aren't expensive, unlike this food.
Good Chinese food and quick. Just a quick Chinese meal good taste. I don't like buffets and in San Marcos this has been my go to for Chinese for 6 years and I haven't been disappointed.
Second time I ordered take out and show up and they said it's out for delivery. Their excuse was because the address still prints out even if it's pick up so they get confused (They should thoroughly read the order to assure it's pick up; not a good excuse at all). They didn't offer anything for apology such as a drink or even store credit and I asked for my food to be remade when the delivery man showed up they handed me the bag and said it was freshly made. I was informed they had no management on sight.. very disappointed I've spent a lot of money at Asian garden ...I been a loyal customer for awhile and eat here several times a month as well recommended it to several people.. even though I left my information to be contacted by management I doubt they will call or even give credit. Very unprofessional how this matter was handled. I will no longer recommended or take my business there. You would think for their mistake as well as the wait I had to do for food that wasn't even fresh I would have been refunded or have store credit.
Love this place. Moved away 4 years ago. Ordered take out, as delicious as I remember...
