This business is downright unethical. I bought a temporary permit to park at Bobcat Village for an intramural game and still got ticketed $150. When I went to discuss the ticket, the lady told me that despite being parked in the correct area, because I have so many prior tickets, the officers will continue to ticket me whenever they see my car because Parking Services pays based on commission. So that's $150 they're taking just because they can, and the hold on my account is affecting my ability to register for the Spring because I can't pay the ticket off right now. Upon telling the lady this, she shrugged me off and shoo'd me out of her office. I'm convinced the "appeals office" is designed so that tickets never have to actually be dismissed, even in situations like this where they admit the ticket was wrongfully given.

As for the price of the permit... valuation of this is subjective from person to person. UT-Austin isn't any better, if not worst... I promise you. Objectively, any valuation of the permit (too high or not high enough) is a subjective opinion that varies from person to person, and some are driven by emotionally charged mental state from having to stand in line 3-4 hours in the TX heat.

Workers weren't rude even though they attended to me right before closing. Parking is extremely overpriced for the limited options available. I understand they are self-funded but those funds need to be directed towards more parking lots. If there were better options, I wouldn't mind the prices as much. It is annoying how if you need your pass delivered, it has to be to your permanent address. The lines before school start and right after it begins are out the door and you can be there for a few hours so be prepared if you need to go during this time!

If there was a no star option I would have selected that. The front line officer I spoke with today was absolutely AWFUL!! She was very rude and unprofessional. If I acted the way she had at my job towards customers there is no doubt I would have been fired. She was no help at all and wouldn't even listen to me! I will never purchase a parking permit or support this establishment in anyway! I have never been so disrespected before!

I've skimmed through some of the reviews here, some stated that the staffs here were rude or disrespectful, but this has not been accurate from my recent experience. I think the staffs had been as professional as they can be. However, I can understand the student's frustration of having to wait 3-4 hours in line for a parking permit. THIS, for a Texas University, is ridiculous.

The slowed moving line standing on the sidewalk is a public hazard and must be resolved. The line was moving at distance of 1 yard every 10 minute... I can understand that the limited staffs are working as fast as they can, but when results are unacceptable, you need to hire more staffs (especially to keep things moving at lunch times, not shutting down 1-2 out of 3 windows, having no one else to keep the ball rolling).

Vultures who’s fines don’t even go to the university, literally they exist to fund themselves. Also quite Boot happy. But what do you expect from a department founded on the economic principle of blood sucking.
