Staff were friendly and informative. Our boat tour guide, Clayton, answered all our questions enthusiastically and shared his extensive knowledge. We also enjoyed hiking to the wetlands boardwalk, visiting the aquarium, the gift shop, and stopping by the craft table for our four year old to plant seeds and learn about recycling with Melissa.. Great day trip for all ages.

Perfect for all ages, a local gem that you can't find just anywhere. Very organized in terms of sending out three boats if it is very busy. Parking lot is $3 which can be paid via credit card. Bathrooms are adequate and a water fountain allows one to fill up a klean kanteen easily. Boat tour is genuinely interesting as you learn about the history of the springs as well as the kind of animals and plant life that create this natural spring that is apart of the Edwards Aquifer water system. There is a bog walk if you go past the boat docks with additional educational learning stations. The old Aquarena Springs hotel has been converted into a small exhibit center. It has some interactive centers from which one can learn about different animals, plants, and the natural ecosystem. Four picnic tables are available for eating a quick lunch. Tour guide said cloudy days are best for seeing the wildlife and fish.

This place was so much fun! The boat ride is great! Our guide was very entertaining and knowledgeable. The free museum was small, but still fun. The view from the rooftop is great!

Very cool and educational. Never seen such clear waters in Texas before. Wish the tour was a little bit longer. Still had a great time. Great place for a picnic a hiking and a whole day of sightseeing

Neat little attraction. The staff were friendly and informative. Good for all ages.
