Because there is my best friend Joshua I don't no thus he is studying here
I really enjoyed my time here. The small classes really made the classes very personal. The teachers here really know all the students well. I did occasionally notice some degree of favoritism though. I do like how the rules and expectations are very clear, although often they seemed arbitrary or flat out stupid. The Accelerated Christian Education (ACE) curriculum has a very VERY conservative Christian perspective, and at times is straight up indoctrination. In terms of campus safety, the school is very prepared for multiple situations. The school is close to both the Department of Public Safety and close to a correctional facility, so the police response time is very fast. Not only that, but most of the staff has CHLs and are certified to handle active shooters. Chapel on Wednesdays are great at first, but get old pretty quickly. The school has a remarkably politically conservative bias, and can affect your grades in certain classes. Everyone in this school is very close, which can be good, but it also means drama is very divisive. The classes are too small to have cliques, but there are still specific groups of friends. One great thing about this school is how rigorous the lecture classes are, especially high school English. The courses will definitely prepare you for college much more than your standard public school. One last very important thing: there's no school on Fridays. Having three day weekends every week is really awesome, although it comes at the cost of certain school holidays such as President's day. All in all, this school provided a great experience for me. But like any school, it has many imperfections. If you ever do find a perfect school, don't go there. You'll just ruin it.
I could never have imagined a more wonderful school. Young people achieve academic excellence, they make friends for life, parents are treated with utmost respect and kindness. If Norman Rockwell was searching for the ideal place for learning, this would be the place.
