I was traveling through San Marcos and decided to stop at Famous Footwear to see what they have. I normally shopped in the one in my hometown. I purchased four pairs of shoes $$$. When I asked the assistant manger and manger about the bottom of the shoes. Their answer was "the shoes looked dirty because of customers trying them on". I asked him, "you don't think I believe your answer and we are inside of a clean store. " the assistant manger tried to clean them but wasn't successful. I looked at another of pair of shoes different brand and the same thing. Those shoes were NOT on the clearance rack. What kind of shoes are they selling there? Needs to be investigate.
