Fast and friendly service!!. Great prices , always able to help and show you exactly what the promlem is or was !! I had a tire that was getting flat constantly and our friendly employee chris was their to help me and save the day .Turned out i had a cracked rim :( luckily he gave me some great alternatives helped me by patching it . but i still had to buy new rim.
The gentlemen in the front desk named Chris Hughes, was very nice he gave me quotes on several items, and helped me all the way through, great Service, definitely my go to shop for years to come!
Beyond that, they did not explain very much and did not answer my questions about the repairs the suggested I make clearly or fully. For the price I paid for this inspection (which was over 20 minutes less than the full hour of attention I was repeatedly assured the car would be getting), I was expecting more help and clarity fro the staff.
After being told by a different tire shop, that I had a previous repair that could not be repaired again, I called Nichols and talked with Chris. Chris gave me the best price for my specialty replacement tire of all the big chains on I35. But before I had him order the tire, Chris told me to come in to see if they could fix it. Indeed they did fix it for $25.00 instead of a new tire at $260.00. (Discount wanted $360.00) Chris also informed me that no one had ever removed the piece of metal in that caused the flat in the first place. Chris did remove it!
I always go their and refer people to go their .. They work fast and they actuay know what they are doing !! and who doesnt want that .. !! We all need loyal places much like this i give this place 5 stars !!
Took my car in for a brake check one day. Told me to schedule an appointment after they looked at my brakes. I scheduled to come back in another time. I told them my engine light was on too. 4 hours later, they give me a quote for over $1300!!!! With a long list of new problems that were not there before! I took my car and later on my engine has issues... These people will rob you blind. I took my car elsewhere and it's a fraction of the cost and funny how the issues they told me I had don't exist anymore??
I wet in for a multi-point inspection. I definitely feel like the staff tried to make mountains out of molehills on me.
