Perhaps they should hire a someone who knows how to read documentation.
After four failed attempts to obtain passport through USPS in New Braunfels and Spring Branch, I called this office and was told no reservation necessary so we went up to San Marcos and what a great experience. We were assisted by Daley Heller, a very proficient, knowledgeable and courteous representative. I couldn't believe the level of service this young man provided, he was outstanding,. He should be utilized to train others on providing excellent public service... Thank you Daily...
Young man at the passport desk was very helpful and took his time with me and the gentleman in front of me right before their lunch break. Yet I was out of there much quicker than I anticipated! Make sure you have everything you need beforehand and check if your birth certificate has the stamp thing to make it valid (Mine wasn't valid but I got away with an old passport to prove US birth). Glad I came here over anywhere else.
Unfortunately I cannot give no stars. I attempted to get my birth certificate. I have an expired license. The lady at the front desk would not work with me on any of it, despite Texas state law clearly outlining the documentation I was using. To make it short, Save your self some time. Go to the Austin Vital Records office, they know what they are doing, unlike the people here.
