When I was in college this is one of the best spot to go to. It was well-maintained clean and a good family friendly place. Now the brush Need to be hauled Away The grass and yard man doesn't exist. I'm embarrassed I took my family here be careful because this is at a park that the city of San Marcos doesn't want to put any money into and it lacks maintenance. I'll come back here when they make it a family friendly. for me again don't be too disappointed just don't come....
It's got plenty of places to walk your dog. And good walking paths around the park too. Only downside is the people who own a dig but refuse to pick up their poop. That's sick and poop can have worms and diseases in it

Decent soccer fields. Able to park close and nice amenities. Soccer fields weren't the best we have played in and had lots of small ant piles.
